We have been going to the Claypen for just about 15 years! It really is a wonderful place to spend time wih friends/family. It is about having fun, being creative, and bringing something home that is unique by your own hand.
Jessica and her staff are always available with a warm welcome and a helpful suggestion. The Claypen is a business where you leave feeling like you just made a friend.

The Claypen is a wonderful asset to West Hartford. It is a really unique date night/birthday party/girls night venue. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the painting itself is really fun. I have been going there for several years now and love the atmosphere. Great location too…very easy to have a painting session and then cross the street and eat dinner AND you have a souvenir of the evening!   ~Rachel

This is a great place to take the kids. We had so much fun here. You get to choose a piece of pottery…choose the colors you want and then paint it…take it home in about a week or so. Many, many pieces to choose from.  ~Susan R.
