Love Elephants? So does The Claypen! Stop in to paint your own elephant to contribute to our Elephant Adoption program. 10% of the profits will go directly to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust foundation in Kenya. The DSWT rescues baby orphaned elephants that have been separated from their herd, and raises them until they are ready to be released into the wild. At DSWT each baby elephant is given a “comfort blanket” to shield them from the harsh elements, and to comfort them at night. For $16 ( plus studio fee ), you will get to paint your own elephant, pick out a special blanket, fill out an adoption certificate, as well as put your name on our wall devoted to elephants. Come help raise awareness about the growing extinction of elephants, and contribute to the cause to save them.
